Bath Natural Burial Meadow
Rating by families (59)
The meadow's beauty is typical of the southern end of the Cotswold Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. It is characterised by rolling agricultural land, flower-rich limestone grassland, deep valleys and woodland.
The peace and beauty of the countryside is special, whatever the season. Somewhere to connect with nature, sense the elements and feel replenished. It allows you time and space to focus your mind, a place to reflect on life, love and loss.
Our aim is to provide peaceful resting places in beautiful countryside. Places for people to escape the hustle and bustle of the modern world.
The meadow offers time and space to do things your way. Whether arriving on horseback, bringing the dogs, erecting a marquee or keeping things very simple, you have the scope and freedom to do as you wish.
People say there's an odd sense of inner-peace knowing that one day they too will be there - somewhere they know, somewhere they feel happy.

What are natural burials and green funerals?
Natural burial is the most ecological funeral option. It means that only natural, biodegradable materials are buried and that the land is managed in a sustainable way. Our Natural Burial Guide has more details.
