Custodian
Sally Cook is the person you are likely to meet at the meadow and with whom a guided visit can be arranged.
The Cross family decided to have a burial ground at Clearbrook Farm because they wanted the option of being able to keep the land in the family, and needed it to be self-funding. The land is not prime agricultural land but has a rich ecology which is currently sustaining a wide range of wildlife including the endangered Greater Horseshoe bat. They also want to protect the land from ever being developed regardless of future changes to planning law. "Perfect setting and a very nice, pleasant owner who met us on the day and remained on hand. Very happy with everything." |
